About

I'm Mel Pint, founder and CEO of OpulenceX. I worked as a business strategist, analyst, and auditor before I ever shipped software. The job was to check whether a system actually behaves as described, especially under pressure. When I started paying attention to products promising that ownership, payments, and assets could work differently, that habit kept flagging the same gap: the promise was about access for anyone, anywhere. The products were demos that fell over the moment real money and real people showed up.

The idea was right. The execution wasn't. Where I come from, access to fair, transparent financial tools isn't a given, and it shouldn't depend on geography or on who you know. So in 2022 I started building the version that was built to last.

OpulenceX incorporated in 2023 and shipped its first production system on August 23 of that year. We've been shipping since: a peer-to-peer marketplace where funds are held until both sides perform, a distribution platform now serving 50+ projects and creators, and infrastructure that other businesses run their programs on. None of it was built to demo. It was built to operate, and we still operate it.

That's the rule the company runs on. We build production systems for businesses that need assets, ownership, and payments to work differently. Commerce, dispatch, distribution, settlement; we run what we build. Some of it runs on ledger infrastructure when that's the right tool. Most of it is careful software and the discipline to stay on call for it.

I initially built OpulenceX from Hawaii and moved to Idaho in 2025. I've spent a lot of that time in public. I hosted a daily call on X called Locked In and a weekly one called 589 Trenches. I spoke at the Honolulu Blockchain Summit and the Pacific Blockchain Summit, and did the circuit: Ripple Swell, Consensus Hong Kong, TOKEN2049, Dubai FinTech Summit, and NFT.NYC, arguing the same thing everywhere: utility beats speculation, and builders beat hype. This company is what that argument looks like when you have to back it up with uptime.

If you have a business where the handoff between buyer and seller, the schedule, the payout, or the record of who owns what is the thing that keeps breaking, that's what we're for.

We run what we build.

Most development shops hand you a codebase and an invoice. We build systems, put them into production, and operate them for our own products and our clients. When we scope your build, we’re scoping something we expect to keep alive.
